Artist Books and Other Cool Stuff!

How many times have you wanted really bad to make something, but it seemed like you had already "Done it all"??? I find myself feeling that way pretty often...and when I do, I hit the Googler Machine, and start looking for something different...I go to the google search and put in what i DO have in stock, and then do a search and see what projects come up... I have found many a wonderful project to work on by doing this practice, and it takes the guesswork out of trying to come up with something on your own! Try it sometime!! Besides..one good project can spawn many other side projects that you never even thought about..,give it a try and let me know how it works out for you!

New Mail Art! Check it out...

Well, the last week and a half have been really busy when it comes to mail art! Every day I have had at least 1 or two pieces of art show up! They are really great also...I am going to share them with you, and hopefully get you even more excited about this wonderful for of communication, in such a world of hurried and technological communicating. Nothing beats the written word! Check out all the nifty pieces of mail art that people have taken the time to send me! I also received several ATC's from swaps I have been involved in on artfortytwo.org, atcsforall and swapbot.com!

Mail Art Call!!

I am putting out a call to anyone who wants to send me mail art. Postcards, envies, inchies, whatever you wish to send. Format is free-collage, paint, marker, etc., whatever you wish. I will then put some of them up on this blog, and also see if I can display the collection locally, here in town. I think that would be right up this little artsy town's alley! I may also see if I could get a local museum or gallery to display them also. No promises, this is my first call, but I will do what I can.
