I have discovered a new passion....I have always wanted to know hoe to do hand beading and embroidery, so I finally took the plunge and got all of the things I needed, plus I got this book from Amazon to get me started....
This is a great book for beginners, at least for me....Below is the pattern I decided to paint first and then bead:
Here it is at the beginning stages...
and here is where I got to today...I bead a while and then embroidery the green part for awhile so that I don't get bored...
So, this is my new project and I am really loving it. Also, don't forget to leave a comment to be entered in the drawing for the bracelet I painted...

ReplyDeleteI've thought of embroidering the flowers on printed fabric before, but haven't done it. I love how you did your own flowers and your lovely bead embroidery outlines too! Great stuff! Keep it up!

That looks like a really cool book, I love to doodle and have also been wanting to learn beading and some embroidery. Love your bracelet you painted very pretty!
