I did the drawing for the hand-painted bracelet this weekend, and the lucky winner is SHARON!!!! I will be emailing her for her address so I can send her her new bracelet! I hope she enjoys wearing it....
I will be having another free giveaway soon...I have a collection of different color GLITTER, as well as some other neat goodies I will be giving away very soon! So be sure that you check back often, and leave a comment with your email address so I can contact you if you win...
On another note, my favorite art supply of the week has been CLEAR GESSO! I did this page, using clear gesso over a magazine cut-out, which I then painted over with acrylics...:
I did the background with three colors of paint and a brayer, which I just recently bought, and I love using it! I also used stamps and ink as well as stamps and paint, plus I cut some stars for her hair out of some shiny silver paper I had... I really like how this turned out, and the clear gesso makes it so easy to see what you are doing...
I also did this other two-page spread over the weekend:
I used regular white gesso on this page, along with acrylics, stamps, rub-ons, fun foam flowers and various shapes, ink, and some collage elements. It was a really fun page to do, and I sprayed the whole thing with clear Krylon spray after it was dry...I like it because it gives it a shiny look!
So, that is what I have been up to for the week, a big CONGRATULATIONS to Sharon for winning the bracelet, and more drawings to come!!!!
Happy Creating,
Laura
